Caprese Skewers

Makes Caprese salad into a finger food

Serves: 5

Ingredients

  • 20 cherry tomatoes - halved
  • 1 fresh buffalo mozzarella - cut in 1/2" cubes to make 40 cubes
  • 1 bunch, fresh basil leaves - torn in half
  • sea salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • il Fustino Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • il Fustino 25 year old Balsamic Vinegar

Method

  1. Using a skewer, put 1/2 tomato, cut side up, followed by a piece of mozzarella, basil, second piece of mozzarella and finish with another tomato half. Season skewers with salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.
